About

Jonathan Olson, Dallas-based filmmaker, motion designer, photographer, and creative director specializing in documentary films, motion graphics, 3D visualization for nonprofits, churches, and mission-driven organizations. Bilingual English/Spanish native raised in Mexico City.

Hi, I'm Jonathan.

I grew up in Mexico City and now call Dallas home. Working across cultures has shaped how I approach storytelling, design, and collaboration.

My work spans film, motion graphics, 3D, photography, and mixed media. I've partnered with nonprofits, businesses, churches, and community organizations around the world to create work that's thoughtful, visually engaging, and designed to connect with people.

I work primarily in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Cinema 4D, with additional tools like DaVinci Resolve for color grading. My focus is on serving nonprofits, churches, mission agencies, and mission-driven brands—organizations doing meaningful work in their communities and around the world.

I love making things, whether it's a film, a 3D render, a hand-painted sign, or a pottery piece. Outside the studio, you'll usually find me tending to tropical plants, experimenting at the Dallas Makerspace, or learning a new craft simply because I'm curious.

Whether the project calls for film, motion, 3D, photography, or something entirely different, I enjoy finding the right creative approach to help ideas connect with the people they're meant for.
